Firstly, thank you for being here. Truly.
It means more than you probably realise.
If you’ve landed here, you’re likely building something or dreaming about it and that already tells me a lot about you.
The Business Vault wasn’t created from theory.
It was built from experience.
I'm your educator, mentor, tech lover, business architect and your biggest believer.
I help women build real businesses in real life without jargon, without burnout, and without pretending life pauses while you grow.
Over the last decade, I’ve built and owned businesses across multiple industries from plant equipment hire to a nationally recognised graphic design agency. In 2022, my design business was awarded 3rd place in Australia for Digital Services at the AusMumpreneur Awards.
But titles and awards only tell part of the story.
Behind every business I’ve built has been real life - the messy, beautiful and unpredictable kind.
If you know The Business Vault is for you but want to find the right pathway let's catch up for a brief chat to talk about how I can help you.

From building multiple businesses across industries.
From navigating pivots.
From scaling fast.
From learning the hard way.
From winning awards.
From starting again when necessary.

Motherhood didn’t arrive in a perfectly wrapped package.
Just as I opened the doors to my very first shopfront, 6 weeks later I found out I was going to become a mum.
What followed was a high-risk & sickening pregnancy that quickly made me a frequent flyer of the hospital all while juggling two businesses and growing a small human.
My businesses didn’t pause & life certainly didn’t pause.
So I learned how to build in a way that allowed both to exist.
Then the decision to become a single mum forced me to become stronger in ways I didn’t expect. I had to find financial stability, emotional resilience, and a new sense of identity all at once.
Years later, life expanded again. I became a mum to more — stepping into a blended family with three stepchildren and learning what it truly means to hold space for different personalities, needs and seasons.
Business was never separate from this.
It was built alongside school pickups, emotional conversations, budget recalculations and redefining what “family” looked like.
This is why I don’t teach business in isolation.
Life is always part of the equation.
I’ve rebuilt my life more than once.
After surviving a domestic violence relationship at 17, I made a quiet promise to myself: I would never stay small and change the world so no-one had to feel that insignificant again.
At 18, I bought my first home.
At 21, I left Australia and travelled the world.
Later, I chose to leave an unhealthy marriage and a six-figure business I had built, when I realised both were keeping me smaller than I was meant to be.
I have learned that reinvention isn’t failure. It’s growth. That belief runs through everything I teach.
I strongly believe there should be play before work.
Without play, work becomes monotonous. Your mind becomes stale. Creativity dries up — and so does your energy.
Whilst I may look like a duck with two left feet, dancing wildly and singing completely out of tune music is one of the dear loves of my life. It resets me. It softens me. It reminds me not to take everything so seriously.
And drawing? That’s where I come alive in a different way.
Creating colourful characters even drawing with my finger on the shower screen at night keeps me smiling. It keeps my imagination active. It keeps me thinking creatively instead of mechanically.
Because business isn’t just logic and spreadsheets.
It’s ideas. Vision. Expression.
And when we allow ourselves to play, we build better.
HerKind Business Collective is a Newcastle and Hunter Valley–based initiative I founded to bring ambitious women together in person.
It’s an extension of the work I do through The Business Vault creating space locally for collaboration, education and real business conversations.
Because community matters. And building alongside other women in your own backyard changes everything.
